Each year people watch the American Music Awards to find out whether their favorite musical artists get the recognition the fans believe they deserve. However, there’s a lot more to the American Music Awards, and this year was no exception. The most dramatic part of the AMAs this year was when Jennifer Lopez — whose fans call her J. Lo — fell on stage at the AMAs.
Don’t worry, J. Lo’s fall wasn’t a bad one. She didn’t get injured, but when J. Lo falls at the AMAs, it’s a big deal no matter what. Luckily, the same part of her body that helped her become uber-famous has not only made her millions, it protects her when J. Lo falls on stage. So she is fine. Anyway, she has a hefty insurance policy on that piece of real estate of hers, so if she did need medical attention she wouldn’t need quick personal loans or anything.

However, Adam Lambert had a huge article in Rolling Stone, and the cover of his first album– which comes out today — has gotten tons of media attention. It’s pretty undebatable: Adam Lambert, “American Idol” runner-up is way more famous than the winner.
To continue his rise to uber-stardom, Adam Lambert’s AMA performance has gotten tons of attention. Sure, not all of the attention directed at Adam Lambert’s AMA performance is positive, but that’s to be expected. American Music Award winners
In case you’re wondering who actually won at the American Music Awards, here’s the rundown of the big ones. Michael Jackson won four awards post mortem, winning the title of Favorite Male Artist in the pop/rock category and the soul/rhythm and blues category. His album “Number Ones” got Favorite album in both of those categories, too.
The Black Eyed Peas won Favorite Band, Duo or Group in both of those categories. Rascal Flatts took that title in the country category. Jay-Z won all available titles in the rap/hip hop category, winning Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album. Keith Urban won Favorite Male Artist for Country, and Beyonce won Favorite Female Artist for soul/R&B.
Taylor Swift won the most awards, five total, taking home favorite Female artist for pop/rock, country and adult contemporary. She also won Favorite Album for “Fearless” in the country category. And, of course, she won Artist of the Year.
