Militia group of Christians was busted by the FBI and ATF

As reported by the Associated Press, weekend ATF and FBI raids in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio captured eight people who were members of the Hutaree militia, which is a Christian militia. Those in question were suspected to be conspiring to kill members of local law enforcement and then to kill all other officers at the later funerals, according to federal agents. The weekend raids served as a form of preventative maintenance.According to the AP, other unrelated Christian militia groups like the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia think the Hutaree militia to be “too extreme.”

What is the Christian militia called the Hutaree militia about?

The Hutaree militia Christian’s web site, they claim that members “are prepared to defend all those who belong to Christ and save those who (don’t).” It is still unclear whether or not the action prepare against the law enforcement was in related to preparation for the Second Coming or not, but the Hutaree group state they “will one day see (their) enemy and meet him on the battlefield if so God wills it.” Use of payday cash advances for weapons for this battle would be discouraged, to say the least.

Conspiracy to attempted use of WMDs are charged

The six Michigan residents, two Ohio residents and one Indiana resident are up on charges of “seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction (an Improvised Explosive Device, or IED), teaching the use of explosive materials, and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence,” according to the AP. The Department of Justice Press Release and indictment are in the public records now.

Neighbors had no idea, thought they were “nice”

It might be more indicative of what Robert Frost meant when he wrote down “Good fences make good neighbors,” than it speaks for the character quality of the members of this Hutaree extreme militia group. And while we’re on lessons from literature, the Hutaree militia seem to make their extreme interpretation of the Bible one of the ways they are coping with the “New World Order” as they might see it.

So what have we learned? If we were to follow the word of literature, we could take Jonathan Swift’s “A Modest Proposal” as serious and eat small kids to deal with all the overpopulation. Of course that is insane, and Swift wrote it as a satire. It could be “1984″ is a more fitting model for our modern society. Wait, that is exactly the kind of totalitarian regime the Christian militias such as the Hutaree militia would want. And what if they decided not to lay down their arms afterward – would we have a Hutareetocracy? Might “Onward Christian Soldiers” be needed to play before you applied for no faxing payday loans?
