Apple announced the iPod touch

Announcement from Apple are what interests individuals on the internet. Are they announcing a new iPhone? Or is Apple joining with Google and changing the name of the new company to Skynet? An announcement from Apple was scheduled for today, and Apple aficionados started to speculate. Apple is actually just providing the brand new iPod 4G. Apple is also challenging Facebook and Myspace. iTunes plans to add a social network to it.

iPod Touch 2010 from Apple

Apple chose to use the statement time to announce upcoming events rather than addressing the flaw within the iPhone 4.0. The large news, of course, is about the iPod touch. There is only one thing separating the iPod Touch 2010 from the iPhone. No calls can be made with the iPod. You can get it as small as 8GB of memory, says the New York Times. It will cost you $ 229 though. The new iPod Nano has a touch screen rather than the familiar wheel, and the iPod shuffle has gone down to an affordable $ 49.

Then there was more

Steve Jobs had more news. Ping is a new feature Apple has on iTunes. Ping, according to The Telegraph, can be a music-centric social networking site. Users can be able to have conversations with each other and updates. There will also be a way to follow bands and one another. The iOS is the operating system for the iPod and iPhone. There will be a brand new version of that soon. There is also a new Apple TV, which costs a small amount to get movies and TV episodes downloaded to your TV. It costs $ 99 to get an Apple TV which syncs with any iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or other Apple system.

Apple products for everyone

The Apple announcement makes one things clear. Apple surely doesn’t rest on any of its laurels. There may also be the newest version of iTunes coming out. It is called iTunes 10. Considering Apple sells product as Christmas gifts and back to school items, many will probably be sold.
